Focus areas.

General life challenges and/or difficulties.

There are times in our life where our experiences are challenging, difficulty and overwhelming. As a result, we sometimes experience symptoms that have a significant impact on our wellbeing and functioning. At times we may need some assistance in dealing with the effects of the challenges and gaining some perspective.

Anxiety and related experiences and difficulties.

Anxiety is when we are consistently worried about one thing or multiple things. Anxiety arises when we are worried or when we experience fear about a certain situation or its outcome. This area also includes feeling nervous, stressed or uncertainty. It is often accompanied by physical symptoms such as (not limited to) headaches or nausea.

Mood and Related difficulties and Challenges.

Everyone experiences the blues. It is a normal part of life (that we sometimes still need help with). However, when we for example start to experience a persistent state of sadness, decreased energy or interest, changes in our sleep or eating patterns we may be struggling with mood related challenges. This can also include fluctuation in our mood.

Couples/Marital Counselling.

Marital counseling is a type of therapy that helps couples improve communication, resolve conflicts, and build a stronger, healthier relationship. It may include individual and/or joint sessions.

Career Challenges.

Career challenges refer to difficulties or obstacles that an individual may face while trying to advance or maintain a career such as job loss, lack of job satisfaction, work-life balance, development and lack of direction.

Performance Difficulties.

Performance difficulties refer to problems in achieving goals or meeting expectations in various areas and can be caused factors such as lack of motivation and confidence, anxiety, and physical or emotional problems.

Substance Use Difficulties.

Substance use difficulties refer to problems related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol, including addiction, withdrawal, and negative impact on daily life. Examples include dependence and substance abuse.
